So for some reason, another Fibaro device has broken down in my system. This device had two wired door contacts connected to it, so I need to replace it quickly. This time, I’d like to go MQTT instead, and I also have a few more wired contacts that I’d like to add to the same device.
(I don’t actually have to go MQTT, but I don’t want the same Fibaro device again, and am not sure if there’s any Zwave devices that will handle 4 door contacts?)
What is the easiest way to do this? ESP8266 GPIOs comes to my mind, and I guess I will not be the first one doing this, so maybe there’s already code?
Suggestions welcome - the less I have to code - the better. I have a long list of other things to do this summer, so I would prefer to avoid getting stuck in firmware coding if I can.
