Add-on UI - disappeared?

Something strange has happened with the add-ons. I haven’t used this part of OH in a long time, but I have version 5.1.2.

In any case:

  1. The add-on in the “Modbus” bindings is called “Lambda Heat Pump Binding” (!)

  2. In the “User interface” section, I only see 4 add-ons. Here was be many more items. I was looking for a widget on the Main Page and I remember there was a very large collection of widgets customized for light bulbs, blinds, etc. Where did they all go?

Can anyone tell me if they’re experiencing similar issues or if something’s wrong on my instance?

There was some discussions on the forum awhile back on this. There was something broken in how OH handled sub-bindings.

I’ve been out of the loop a bit but I’m pretty sure it’s fixed either in 5.1.3 or in the snapshots. Or it’s possible the PR is still open.

Yup - I ran into this issue here:
openHAB 5.1 Release discussion - #261 by glen_m (There are a few subsequent replies to this as well).

The GitHub issue is here: [modbus.lambda] Prevent overwriting modbus binding details by lsiepel · Pull Request #19928 · openhab/openhab-addons · GitHub

There’s another issue as well - the community marketplace broke, which I suspect is the reason why so much is missing from the “User interface” section. I believe that it has been restored in 5.1.3.

It was finally fixed by [modbus] Fix addon.xml by jlaur · Pull Request #20222 · openhab/openhab-addons · GitHub, which was included in 5.1.3, but not mentioned in the release notes because of a label issue.
