Adding a map provider? (shadow maps)

Hi,

there are services like

which show the map of your area with current sun shadow situation.

is it possible to add these or similar sources as map provider within MainUI map settings?

there is one called Esri.WorldShadedRelief already available withing MainUI - but when i select it, i dont see any change on my map view…

I know of no way to change the map provider used by openHAB but you should be able to use the oh-webframe-card widget to show either of those web sites on a MainUI page. There’s a webview element to do the same for sitemaps. You’ll have to look into those sites to see if they have any documentation for how to structure the URL to show just the part of the world you need.
