Adding Denon/Marantz Binding

Good Morning!
I’m pretty new to OH2 and I would like to consult you regarding adding a new binding.
First to my setup: I have a running OH2 2.1.0 on Ubuntu installed via apt-get. Now I want to add a new binding which seems not to be a “official” one to include my AV-receiver: https://github.com/openhab/openhab2-addons/issues/2204.

As far as google told me I need to add some *.jar file to my addon-folder. Currently my addon-folder contains two files (openhab-addons-2.1.0.kar and openhab-addons-legacy-2.1.0.kar).

I would really appreciate your help.

I can’t tell if that binding is to the point of usability yet.

Assuming it is, you will need to build the binding yourself. The result will be a jar file you can just copy over to the add-ons folder.
