Adding jar binding when using addon.cfg binding

If I’m using the addons.cfg file and uncommented bindings and am telling OpenHAB to install bindings based on what’s in that list, how do you add bindings not in the PaperUI? Do you just stick them in the addons folder and leave them out of the addons.cfg bindings= path?

Are you asking where to place a jar file for a binding, or binding version, that is not available via PaperUI?

If adding a jar file for a binding then the location would be /usr/share/openhab2/addons

Do you use the addons.cfg file to add your bindings normally? I know where to place jar files just not sure if I’m managing my list of bindings to install in the addons.cfg file how to handle the “manual” bindings.
