Aeotec ZWA001 Bulb 6 Multi-White - nonfunctional color_color channel

This is about: OpenSmartHouse Z-Wave Device Database.
This is a multi-white bulb supporting warm and cold white. It doesn’t do RGB.
Excerpt from the XML:

Currently, the database does contain a color_color channel for this device, which obviously does not do very much color wise, but if I’m not mistaken it could still be used to alter the white temperature. This does not work however. When using the color picker:

2022-10-15 20:44:18.181 [INFO ] [openhab.event.ItemCommandEvent      ] - Item 'Livingroom_ColorControl' received command 0.000000,52.542370,46.274509

2022-10-15 20:44:18.184 [DEBUG] [ding.zwave.handler.ZWaveThingHandler] - NODE 34: No messages returned from converter

The ‘Unknown color mode null’ seems to originate from the fact that the database does not contain a colorMode for the color_color channel:

      <channel id="color_color" typeId="color_color">
        <label>Color Control</label>
          <property name="binding:*:HSBType">COMMAND_CLASS_SWITCH_COLOR</property>
          <property name="binding:*:PercentType">COMMAND_CLASS_SWITCH_MULTILEVEL</property>
          <property name="binding:Command:OnOffType">COMMAND_CLASS_SWITCH_MULTILEVEL</property>

So, the question is - can the color_color channel be fixed for this device (maybe by adding colorMode=DIFF_WHITE)?

Or is this channel never going to work on this device and should it be removed altogether to avoid any confusion?

Thanks for any insights
