today i made the latest update to the stable version of Openhab and then MQTT stops working. i can connect with mqtt.fx to the server and switching on and of the sonoffs is working fine. but i can not control it with Openhab.
now the question is how can i trouble shoot in openhab? anybody an idea where the problem could be?
MQTT has changed from version 1 to version 2.
Either enable legacy bindings and use mqtt1 or change your config to mqtt2 (Things and channels):
thanks for this quick help, but holy shit the new mqtt 2 looks really difficult to me. are there some example how it has to look now?
