After upgrade to openhab 2.4 getting lots of warnings and errors in log file

Hello,

yesterday I updated to openhab 2.4 and now getting a lot of warnings and errors in my log file. I’m still using the old knx binding (1.9) on a raspberry PI.

My item:

Number Strom_WM3 “Waschmaschine #2 (Strom) [%.2f mA]” { knx="<7.012:4/3/20" }

It is bound to a MDT AMI-1216.01.

I googled a while yesterday and today but could not find any help.
Any ideas what is going wrong?

You might wanne try

Number Strom_WM3 “Waschmaschine #2(Strom) [%.2f mA]” { knx="7.012:<4/3/20" }

Or even add a 2nd GA for the read

Number Strom_WM3 “Waschmaschine #2(Strom) [%.2f mA]” { knx="7.012:4/3/20+<x/x/x" }

At first remove the < and see if the error message are gone.

Hi Simon,
can you still see the KNX-Binding 1.x in your Paper UI/Add-ons/Bindings ? If not try to set the “Legacy 1.x Bindings” in your Paper UI/Configuration/System/Add-Management to on and if necessary install it again. May you have to restart your system too.

but with the same result. Still getting the error messages.

Hi Peter,

yes, KNX-Binding is still active and working. I’m still getting all the values from the KNX bus into openhab

the value-format seems to be wrong.

Okay, thank you very much anyway.

I did no changes from 2.3 to 2.4 and now getting this warnings/errors.

At what point do you think I have to correct the value-format? In my items-file or anywhere else?

Even if i know nothing , i’m wondering of the bige size of the value 10050.0. In the other logger there are values of 628.0 and 631.0. Sorry

May I ask if there is a solution for this problem meanwhile?

I’m on the upgrade form OH 2.3 to 2.5M1 with KNX1 but my log file is spammed with hundreds of entries like that:
