In case of an alarm (fire, burglary), I would like to be notified by phone.
Yes, there are already several options for alarm notifications, but most require an internet connection, and the signal duration isn’t long enough for my needs. Besides, a phone call isn’t limited to mobile phones.
Until now, I’ve been running OpenHAB under Windows, where it worked quite well with the Exec binding and SipCLI. Now I’ve switched to Linux and can’t find a simple, working alternative, and I’ve always thought Linux was the operating system of the command line. ![]()
How do you guys handle this, or am I the only one who wants to use this?
