Alexa read/tts temperature item

Hi All,

I’m searching for a way how alexa can speak out current value of an item. What I do is to set every minute a new value to an Number item via openhab REST API and esp8266. That does work without any problems.

Now I’m searching for a way, how I can ask alexa for my room temperatures. My alexa is setup with hue bridge binding.

Take a look at the lastVoiceCommand feature with the Alexa binding.

so only way is alexa binding with oh cloud?! anyone?
