Alexa to set string value

Folks,

I’ve now got Alexa controlling the various items I have (the flexibility of OH2 never ceases to amazing me!!)

I have a number of scenes which is simple a string value which is changed by buttons in OH Panel.
Is there a way I can get Alexa to set these string values?

I can think of a way to possible do it with switches but that seems lumpy?
