I am running version 1.8 with latest java on OS. Ruyver is running. I can switch on and off a memo light switch however in a safari browser I have no icons?
regards
Max
Meant to say Server is running …and I can switch on and off a wemo switch.
Hi Maxwell,
As you are running Safari, have you tried in a different environment another browser and encounterd the same issues?
Cheers
Björn
Hi Bjorn
I have tried it on a Mac mini (desk top), apple laptop ,iPad and iPhone 6
All on safari. I have not tried Windows or another browser
The icons were there before this when I originally loaded the software
I do have the runtime program running on my apple laptop and the Mac mini but not at the same time
I did move the directory containing the whole program to a different location. It is now in /applications/openhab
On the apple laptop I can not connect via the Openhab app as it always gives me an error
Whilst on the mini I can…strange

Max
Hi Max,
I had the same problem once.
I deinstalled the app and reinstalled it again. That somehow solved it.
Maybe this helps you as well?
Cheers
Björn
good idea…however that did not cure the problem
i do have the server working on another machine and the app will connect to that machine. I can not find any differences in proxies or java on the two machines
unless I can connect the app this software is not going to do what I want
Max
Hi Max,
does your last statement mean, you cannot even conncet the app?
Please advise.
In case yes, what local URL have you chosen, e.g. http://192.xxx.y.zzz:8080?
Is your machine only accepting https access?
What kind of server are you using?
To try to help I need more information.
Cheers
Björn
Yes that was the case.
Local rule was http://192.168.8.125:8080
Not sure how to determine what access I am accepting
Not sure about the server
Sorry can not be more helpful not so good on network issues
Regards
Max
