- Copied Generic MQTT - Thing. Is afterwards noct changeable - Error Message ‘Created as file’. Bur there was never a file in the things directory and there ist still no one existing. Attempt to delete via select also failes with the same issue.
- Any propsal recommended that helps removing the Things or delete it.

Try upgrading to 4.3.2, I think it’s fixed there.
Also, you’ll need to delete the copied / duplicated Thing manually in the jsondb. AFAIK there’s no other way.
Thanks for the quick Info. Helps a lot, but will take time - upgrading always includes the risk that things don’t work anymore and therefore requires some preparation work.
Have in between arrived at another issue. Can not create more generic thiings for the Zigbee2mqtt Broker - have 3 working and two non-editable ones which may count as well. Trying to add a 6th one ends after the create button without any error message or hint, but thing is not created.
Is that probably another facette of the same issue and repaired with the upgrade or a different Problem ?
