I’ve just started with migration of my installation from V.2.5 to V.3.2. I have a quite big setup and I am using the expire1 binding extensive. Unfortunately this binding seems to be not supported anymore. Is there a simple or similar solution under openHAB 3?

In OH3 you can now use the “Expiration Timer” metadata on your items. The metadata can be added through the Main UI.
To expand on the other answers: the Expire Binding has been fully incorporated into the openHAB core. You no longer need a separate binding to achieve the same functionality, and you don’t need to change anything in your old configuration files as the syntax is exactly the same!
If you’re using the UI then follow what @DrRSatzteil said!
