[SOLVED] Amanda backup - check if the config is good

I have gone through the inital setup of Amanda Backup. I can see the slots in the folder I have selected. When it wanted to create an Amazon Cloud based backup I just simply pressed Cancel and went back to the openhabian-config main menu.

How does I know that the config was successful? What is the period of backup?

run amcheck <config> and check /etc/amanda/<config>/amanda.conf

There is no such thing. Read the Amanda docs/FAQ to understand this one.

Oh thanks, I couldn’t find it earlier!

However it seems right, because some backups already appeared in the folder! Thanks!

It’s mentioned in the Amanda README so seems you didn’t read that carefully enough?
