Amanda backup isn't able to dump backup?

I configured amanda successfully with my main OH3 installation and it backups on my NAS (Synology).

On my OH2 installation (separate Pi) I did the exact same thing (exept different mount) and get the following mailed to me every day:

What does '/bin/tar' binary is not secure mean?
(creating files, changing files and deleting files works with the backup user, of course)

Hostname: OH2Rossbuehel
Org : openHABian openhab-dir
Config : openhab-dir
Date : April 14, 2021

These dumps were to tape openHABian-openhab-dir-001.
The next 10 tapes Amanda expects to use are: 10 new tapes.

No you didn’t - else it would give the same result, wouldn’t it.

I don’t know for sure but I’d guess there’s an entry for /bin/tar missing in /etc/amanda-security.conf.

both are from the scratch openHABian images. only the OH2 was made like two years ago, and as I moved the main openHAB instance to OH3, I did it from scratch December `20. Then again, the OH2 is an RPi 3 and the OH3 is an RPi 4 - that’s about it, I guess!

you’re right, this is the amanda-security.conf:

############################################################
# /etc/amanda-security.conf #

# This file must contains realpath to executable, with #

amgtar:gnutar_path=/usr/bin/tar

amgtar:gnutar_path=/usr/bin/tar

amgtar:gnutar_path=/usr/bin/tar

I don’t know, why there’s /usr/bin/tar instead of /usr/tar and I swear, i did not touch any amanda configuration file - except via openHABian options!
I commented out the last three “amgtar”-lines and set the one above with the correct path live and started amdump openhab-dir manually - and now the NAS gets filled!

Thanks!
