Thanks a lot, Markus. It worked! Today I did just a openhabian-config update, reconfigured Amanda Backup, created an “amdump” and recovered the data back on the same system with “amrecover”. The selected file was restored immediately. So I´m happy for today.
(Today I also learned that amrecover is not able to restore data on a foreing system because of the failing index and i have to use amrestore for that - but for that I have to rtfm again ;-))
