On the TTS side the same problem. When my installation sends the garage is opened Alexa is not going to spell immediately “The garage is open”. Every day from the day of the restart it extends is speech more away from the point of time which it becomes the order. A fresh installation helped me out only one time. Then I was so stupid to update to 4.2.3
Hi, is it still working in 2025? I am asking, because I executed the mentioned steps multiple times but with no success in getting the smarthome channels working again. It continiously throws the connection error “… getSmartHomeDevices fails: GET url ‘https://alexa.amazon.de/api/phoenix’ failed: Too Many Requests …” - no matter what I try.
Hey,
I never got it to work again, tried it with the regular bindings, as well as the Smarthome/J Binding 4.0.2 on Openhab 4.0.4 and on Openhab 4.2.1. – same results.
I gave up, the whole communication to the Echo devices does not work reliably – even the normal functions like playing music etc.
It seems that Amazon is constantly changing the interface, and the maintainers cannot keep up with that crap.
I am running my zigbee devices now with zigbee2mqtt and an slzb06 adapter (https://smlight.tech/manual/slzb-06/guide)
Runs very reliable the adapter costs around 40€.
