Hello
I switched my mobile to google pixel 10a.
Android 17 is installed.
Now the push-notifications are not working anymore.
Also the device is not showing up under: openHAB Cloud - Log in
With the Samsung S24 and Android 16 it is working.
Does anyone have an idea?

I have the same problem. Notifications were previously working on my Pixel 10 on Android 17, but today I had the phone replaced and I can’t get the notifications working.
Android app shows “Notification registration in progress”.
@digitaldan any idea what the problem could be?
There have been no changes to the cloud system in quite some time, and since this is a an android issue, i would try and get logs from your device and see if its trying to register and failing or what. Registration does not depend on the version of openHAB, so its likely something with the Android app, or maybe something with a Android system release? Either way, we will need logs, not much i can do on my end. If you PM your cloud username i can try to see if there is something in the logs, but its likely its dying before that would happen.
@MikeJMajor i looked through our logs, and there are no logged attempts by your device to register for notifications, this is suppose to happen when your android device opens the app or you change your connections settings (i’m assuming, its been a long time since i have looked at the Android code base). I guess the next step short of logs would be to know what host you have configured for the cloud connection and that credentials are present for that. Maybe one of our Android developers can help.

The connection to the cloud works fine for viewing Main UI
