1. upgrade openHAB.
2. Use the jar directly if still an issue.

It is working fine here on 5.2 Milestone 1 the latest openhab at the time of writting this and I have tested all the releases before this one with no issues here. I suspect your issues are caused by a bug in a recent openHAB build that effected the Addon store / Marketplace. See the news of the release and the fix here:

Another patch release 5.1.3 has just been pushed out. It specifically fixes the broken community marketplace integration, which occured due to a recent Discourse forum software update that was necessary for security patches. Besides this fix, a few other patches are contained, see

Please post the results of updating and re-testing either way here to help others, but since I rely heavily on this binding and use it daily I would see an issue if there was one with the binding itself. You can also download the jar file manually and place it into the addons folder. Link is in the first post of this thread and is where the marketplace sources the JAR from anyway. I use the JAR in my addons folder.
