The current version of the binding does not support video. The reason is that OH does not have a dedicated Item type for video or any other media. It only has the standard Switch, Dimmer, String, Number, Color, Contact item types. But if OH would have such a media item type, then we could eventually use it.
Thanks for quick reply. Is it possible to get the snapshot from camera and use that in image type?
Short answer is no.
Longer answer is that we could perhaps make some experiments, if you are willing to be a test guinea pig. But we would need to get your system running on OH v5.1 first, so such testing would not be without effort or risk to you. And in any case I cannot guarantee 100% if the tests will be positive.
Hi, i m on 5.1 v. I can help with testing. What i m thinking is if we can get the updated snapshot based on the event , say on doorbell press or i m able to refresh the snapshot on demand.
I have few aqara cameras too that are homekit enabled. So far I have not added them in homekit binding. So I m not sure what channels show up for them

Brilliant. Before we start, can you please disable the camera thing in the Homekit binding, then enable trace logging on this binding, then reenable the thing, and finally post the log entry containing the âGET /accessoriesâ requestâs âHTTP 200 OKâ response.

Your accessory uses chunked encoding which explains why the json formatting is rubbish. But no worries I sorted it out manually.
The result is very interesting. It contains many service types that are not documented in the public version of the Apple Homekit specification. So perhaps one day I may be able to figure out their meanings and eventually add new features to the binding.
So I created a PR for this (link below). The top post contains a link to the JAR file. You need to uninstall the official Homekit binding, and drop the version from this link into your addons folder. Also keep the trace logging turned on for the time being.

I have already crated and paird the thing. Just updated the Jar shared by Andrew. And restarted thing.

Indeed they are. When you disable and reenable the Thing, OH momentarily destroys and (re) creates the Thing. There is no need to physically remove the Thing from OH, nor any need to reset the accessory, nor any need to re-pair it.

Tried with Aqara G100 homekit camera. Same behaviour, no channel created for image snapshot. Also, restarted OH.
Thanks for testing. I made another build that should detect the camera service and add the respective extra channel. The new JAR is in the same location [binding.homekit] [experimental] Add camera snapshot channel by andrewfg · Pull Request #20035 · openhab/openhab-addons · GitHub as before..
