I know that another initiative was launched earlier this year a few weeks after Navimow published their Navimow SDK but since it wasn’t open sourced, I decided to create my own version.
It uses the same official SDK available on Github. It relies on their REST API as well as their MQTT server for a higher status refresh rate.
I also developed a first widget aimed at working specifically with this binding, but I’m sure it could easily work with any other Navimow binding as is, or with small modifications.
I installed the JAR, and cerated the Things. The Device ID wasn’t filled in automatically (or quickly enough). I took a look at the binding logs, and found an ID that looked like a suitable candidate.
The Thing still wouldn’t come online… I kept looking, but not finding any clues. And then all of a sudden, the Thing did come online. So maybe the Device ID would have been filled in as well after waiting? And while writing this, I realize I created the Thing manually, instead of letting discovery do all the work for me…
I then created your widget. Looks nice! I didn’t know what kind of “page” to pick, so I took “layout”, and then “grid”. Maybe not the best choice for on a pc:
