Any other advice on where to read?

I do not know much coding, but I am fairly tech savvy. I know little about the command line interface. I have installed OpenHAB on my laptop and gotten through the first portion of the beginner tutorial. I have gotten 4 Philips hue bulbs recognized. I can control these from the Control tab of the Paper UI.

After that I get lost. Creating a Sitemap has me confused. Any advice on further reading or tutorials?

to me it has been helpful to look how the demo works and look at the belonging demo.sitemap file.
That helped me understanding the creating a sitemap and sitemap user manual.
