Anyone use enviro. values (Moon/Clouds) to dynamically determine outside light brightness

Just something fun i’m trying to come up with, i don’t know if its practical or not but just something neat to do.

Has anyone done anything fancy with Moon Illuminanation / Sun/Moon Elevation and Cloud Cover to determine how bight to set a light.

Eg. I want to turn my outside lights on, but at a value that kind of reflects outdoor conditions.

I know;
Clear Sky = Darker Outside
Cloud cover = Brighter Outside
Moon Illumination = Full moon tonight so even more bright.

So i was thinking of some kind of calculation involving these numbers to come up with a light dimmer value.

You could combine the triggers from the astro and weather binding. No need to do the calculations by yourself :slight_smile:
