???
The right to access the LAN was granted in the first place. Since the error message sounded as if the access could not be made I set the switch to off (Reset) and back to on (Set) position but this did not change anything.
Okay - I could fix it. After adding the port numbers (8443 for https, 8080 for http) the app V1 connected again. In order to run V2 I indeed had to uninstall V1 before it could connect. Watch app worked after I changed https back to http.
Just FYI, V1 and V2 share nothing, and have no awareness of each other, so there is no conflict or interaction between the two. Uninstalling or reinstalling one would have no effect on the other.
I’m having the exact issues. The new app gives me the “Network not available” error while v1 continues to work fine. My settings in both are identical.

Do you have v1 still installed? I could imagine that v1 is still listening on the port while v2 app also wants to connect to the port. Try removing v1 app.
That helped in my case although others said that there should not be any relation …
No, that didn’t help.

Can you give a bit more information. What is not working? Lokal or remote connection.
I get a spinning wheel, both local and cloud. I get no Home Screen and no list of site maps.

There is nothing the app “listens on”. Uninstalling and reinstalling does not do anything except force kill the app and maybe reset system permissions. The apps preferences are very minimal, so nothing there is helpful to clear on removal. They also do not share anything, so the act of uninstalling and reinstalling with different results is coincidence as far as I know. I would like to stop recommending this, as i don’t see any basis for it yet.
What version of openHAB are you on ? This error is caused by our “Tracker” code which tries and determines if the network is available, and then if the remote or local openHAB is available and returns the correct version number via REST call. I actually have a PR up to completely replace this class with a new one, so I might suggest trying our test flight version which i will hopefully push to later today or tomorrow.
Deleting v1 did work once I rebooted the iPhone. Thanks.
Shortcuts in the new version don’t seem to work. They did in v1. I cannot choose an item in v3 to change the state or dimming level.

Well thats something else unrelated to this thread, you can see there is already a ticket open for that, please report those types of issue to the IOS project, we can’t track them here.
I started having the same problem. Issue is the iOS app v2 works great from LAN but gives red ‘Network Not Available’ popup and no sitemaps listed when on WAN/5g. I have tried previous suggestions (https…port 443…removed v1…restarted phone). I have the cloud plugin in debug and I can see [io.openhabcloud.internal.CloudClient] - Socket.IO ping in -tail every time the red “Network is not Available” error appears on my iPhone14pro. I get same results from a different phone (iphone12).
I got it working again. How you ask? I cleared out the existing icloud username and password in v2 of the iOS app (the password that appears as a sequence of solid circles). Once I erased the old values, replaced with new values and saved my sites immediately loaded on 5g. My guess is that the password was somehow corrupted. It’s misleading because it looks like it’s filled out with the long string of solid circles…but maybe it wasn’t. In any case I hope this helps someone else.
