Apple CarKey coming in iOS useful for Door access?

Looks like Apple is opening it’s NFC chip for car keys in iOS 13.4. I wonder what would be necessary to finally built a solution for opening my door with it?

Any recommendations in terms of NFC hardware (reader/writer?) to start experimenting with in the context of openHAB? I do have a KNX bus system.

You can do something with iOS (13 minimal), NFC tags (cheap stickers) and iOS shortcuts.
