Hi everyone,
I am trying to integrate and control my existing Aprilaire 8870 thermostats with OpenHAb. I have tried to search for any previous attempts but unsuccessful. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
It appears that there isn’t any sort of public api for Aprilaire.
Thank you much for getting back. It seems that Aprilaire integrates with several other HA platforms such as Crestron, Elan, HAI, Homeseer…. The 8870 thermostats have a RS232 protocol adapter (8811)…
Was wondering if anybody has tried that route of integration within OH.
