Auto update dashboard?

Hi,

I vibe coded a family dashboard for MainUI. The dashboard runs on Kiosk Browser on Android. When waking up the tablet I realized I have to refresh the page to show the item‘s current state.
Is this normal behaviour? Is there a chance to force update the dashboard without completely reloading it after waking up the tablet?

Thanks

I would guys the issue is the tablet goes to sleep or otherwise has a network outage. When this happens the websocket through which MainU* gets updates gets severed. The only way I know of to reestablish the connection is through a reload.

But it should be possible to configure what ever you are using to reload the the page periodically. If not, Taller should be up to the job.

This should be fixable in the main UI

I found a 10,99 € way: Fully Kiosk Browser keeps the websocket alive while the tablet looks like it‘s sleeping. Ok for me. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

I have the same issue on a desktop machine after a sleep.
The orange openHAB reload button appears. This was not the case with 5.1.x, but with 5.2.x

yeah that orange reload after sleep on 5.2 lines up with the websocket dropping. Fully Kiosk keeping the socket alive on tablets is one path. on a desktop after resume I usually just hit that orange button once, or set the browser to reload on wake if the page stays blank too long.
