i have a little Problem hope you can turn me on right way. I have a nightlight that turn on when switch is operate.
First time it runs 15 Minutes then for every operate 10 Minutes with expire timer.
Now my Problem, is it possible to make a count that say after 3 times the nightlight become off for 8 hours?
You can’t change the Expire time set in the Items file, however…
You can create multiple Items that link to the same Thing Channel.
So you could create a second Item with an expiration of 8 hours
An orphan switch Item which is exposed to the user and a rule to determine which real Item is used.
(You could store the usage values in a rule variable, or use another Item {number} )
