There’s a binding I want to play with (homekit) and was thinking of dipping my toes in helping to contribute to this binding. So wanted to find out what I needed to get an IDE up and running.
I believe development is still done in Eclipse. I don’t think there is any effort to move to some other IDE. Eclipse is a good Java IDE (that is what it was first developed for). As far as I know, VSCode may be capable of doing OH development but I don’t think anyone is doing so.
