Bindings getting "stuck", no Item updates

Every now and then, certain bindings seem to get “stuck” lately, OpenHAB stays responsive and scripts are still being executed normally, but certain Items stop getting updates from the binding’s channels. You can easily see it in the 24h CPU graph in this screenshot (the yellow vertical lines are OpenHAB restarts)

Items in question get their data from the systeminfo binding

This would be the network binding being stuck:

Same is true for the TPLink Binding (See blue graphs being frozen):

If i restart the bundles via karaf, they update their respective items once, then freeze up again, showing their status as:

Anyone else noticed a similar behaviour? If i let it running like this it ends up with a heap space error after a couple hours.

A few years later… Getting the same in OpenHAB3, freshly installed, for the SENEC binding.
Did you ever get this resolved?

Please open a new topic and post some more details. If you have a binding specific issue it’s very unlikely it is related to the problem mentioned here as it’s a different binding. So to help you need to open a new topic with some more details. Also this was a long time ago and things have changed.
