Broadlink binding for RMx, A1, SPx and MP. Any interest?

@Cato_Sognen First of all thank you very much for your efforts.

The binding works for me, altough I also have the problem to get it integrated with Alexa via hue-emulation.

What about uploading this to GitHub right now and not only after all bugs have been fixed? That would allow to keep track of issues much better than in this thread and also new versions can be published directly on GitHub instead of using MEGA.

I integrated in hue emulation via a rule and helper item

When helper item is triggered via Alexa / hue the rule Fires a sendcommand to the broadlink item

I am currently using an approach with a python script and the exec binding, so I already have a working solution. Your solution is also rather a workaround, so I will probably wait for switching until this is supported natively by the binding.

Wonderfull work… Thanks again for doing this. I just started interest in home automation. so I started with broadlink and I believe it has potential… now I started looking at OpenHab and integrating the two. Until I found out that there is no official binding until I saw this topic and now wanted to try it. Thanks again.

Current my Broadlink in OpenHAB is show as online

I dont know but have previously wondered about the same. At that time the format was not documented anywhere. Let me know if you find out.

Is this for Alexa?

I’d rather have things setup via a file, so I don’t have to manually recreate after OH upgrades (which is uninstall/install on my hardware).

I’ve had a few goes at doing the file but with no luck.

The important part I’d need to know to do it are the parameter names, if you happen to know what they are?

Ps: I have Alexa controlling my RM2 & RM3 using the hue emulation binding and some virtual switches and rules. So not for Alexa, no.

Hi,
It looks like the binding is unable to open the transform file. I believe you may have placed it in the wrong folder it should be conf/transform and not openhab/transform which you suggest in your post. Let me know if that solves it.

I’ve tried to confIgure a SPmini with beta2 version of the addon, but with no success.

almost two weeks, that i am starting my home automation with OpenHab and Broadlink and IFTTT and i an definitely blocked.
