I have nothing to add here, works like a charm 
Edit: Although I think using the Mac-Address would be a nice touch for People who didn’t set up their DNS properly, like I did forget about in my docker container, because I always forget about that 
Edit2:
I noticed that it is still not updating the values on the channels.
It does it about 1 or 2 times and then nothing in the openhab.log.
It says Updating Channel roomtemperature with value 20.5 about one or two times and then stops outputting.
Maybe do I have to set a refresh interval or is that done by openhab itself?

Ok, nevermind it updated again… not sure why but it seems to do it now.
