[Solved] Bug: Mysterious folder hierarchy created

  • Platform information:
    • Hardware: _CPUArchitecture/RAM/storage_PC
    • OS: _what OS is used and which version_Win10
    • Java Runtime Environment: _which java platform is used and what version_11
    • openHAB version:3

If you have your OH folder inside a folder call ‘openHab’ thus:

openHAB/openHAB/openHab.bat

You end up with a folder called userdata in >openhab/ when you run OH

Bump

??

Your description of the problem is not clear because there are two folders that are called openHAB.
Inside which of them is the userdata ? Incase it is in openHAB/openHAB then this is normal as you can see in Windows | openHAB documentation which describes the folder structure in a windows setup.
In case it is in the top level openHAB directory then have a look at Windows | openHAB and compare the settings in your openhab-wrapper.conf file.

Hi,

It was the second case, but it’s OK now as it’s fixed in 3.0.1.

Thanks
