Can someone confirm that phillips bridge 2 is compaticle with the Hue binding?

I want to buy a Phillips bridge 2. I’m looking for feedback if the Openhab 2 Hue binding is compatible or not.
( or should I buy the old Phillips bridge )

I bought my Phillips Hue bridge in june and I assume it is a version 2, but I am not sure.
But it works fine with Openhab2
Does anyone have any tips on how I can check if it is a version 2?

Old one is round shaped, new one (version 2 ) is square shaped.
