When I ran discovery OpenHAB created a bunch of things and items for my Hue light bulbs. The names of the “things” matched what I had setup in my Hue App, but the labels for the “items” all say “brightness” and the names are like this “hue_0100_0017882c2e3c_4_brightness”. This is not a problem in the PaperUI Control screen, but when I added the OpehHAB skill to my Alexa app, The list of devices just says “brightness” over and over.
I tried to change the “labels” for the Hue items in the PaperUI but when I click on the blue check circle the label doesn’t actually change. I was able to change the labels for some Nest Protect and Smartthings items. So its is not an all or none problem. I cannot change the labels for TPLink switches either.
