Change default theme or load theme with URL

I am trying to get HABPanel running on an ebook reader (Kobo Aura). The browser is not full featured and things like dialog window or menu do not work well. I managed to have a default panel loaded so I solved the dialog box problem but the default theme is white on black which does not look really good on such display.

I could I change the default theme, maybe in the “Panel registry JSON” in paper UI ? so I get around the bug to select a theme on the reader browser ?

Thanks !

  • Tap the gear icon in the upper right.
  • Tap "Panel settings:
  • Choose Material which appears to be the only one with a white background with black text.

Thank you for your answer rlkoshak, i knew this, the problem is that the brower on my ebook reader does not show anything when I click on the theme list. It is a bug of the browser, this is why I asked how I could change the default theme.

When you opt to save the configuration to the server, the file get’s saved to $OH_USERDATA/config/org/openhab/habpanel.config. There might be something you can edit inside there.
