Communication_ERROR and Tipps

Hey,

I keep getting this error message:

2018-03-01 12:01:17.320 [hingStatusInfoChangedEvent] - ‘zwave:device:1c19d802:node2’ changed from ONLINE to OFFLINE (COMMUNICATION_ERROR): Node is not communicating with controller

Would be glad, if someone could help me out with that, as it kills my Motion Detection Reportin(i think :smiley: )

Maybe someone could look into my logs and review it, as I think that my configurations might be bad (like Polling TIme, Wakeup periods, reporting intervalls etc). Maybe they harm each other in a way?

How big is the distance between the zwave controller and your device and are there some active devices in between?
My first guess would be that you are having problems with the signal itself.

Can you post the name/brand of the device and on the other hand post a picture of the Zwave Network (Go to Habmin --> Tools, and there should be an option to display the ZWave network

thanks for your reply!

I am using a Fibaro Motion Sensor fgms001, unfourtunately it is not the distance, as the error occurs even if the sensor is right next to the Zwave-Controller on the Raspberry Pi.
