- Issue of the topic: Configuration windows “disappear”
Just getting started with OpenHAB, and have run into a few issues when configuration dialogs in the web dialogs “disappear” out of view without allowing any input.
After installing Openhabian on a Raspberry Pi 4 as per the tutorial, I tried the following:
-
Add a location
-
Edit the semantic class, select (for example) “Living Room”
-
The dialog disappears and returns the user to the “Things” page. No location appears to have been added.
-
Add a thing (eg, a hue bridge and related items)
-
Add a location. This time don’t attempt to edit the semantic class and click “create”. The location is created successfully.
-
Select location. Click on “Create Equipment from Thing”
-
Select lights from the select dialog.
-
The selection dialog disappears and the UI returns the user to the “Model” interface. No equipment has been added.
