I would like to give habot a try but it looks like I am missing a lot of attributes in my items. I have defined most of the items through PaperUI… Is there a way to configure them there? I don’t see any dialog to set the tags.

No. You can’t add tags to Items through PaperUI. But you can add tags to Items through the REST API. You can install the REST API Docs from the UIs tab in PaperUI. From there it provides not only documentation for the API, but it lets you call the API. Scoll down to to Items and near the bottom you will find “Adds a tag to an item.”
