Hello everyone, I’m diving into OpenHAB and I wanted to connect my vacuum cleaner (Dreame D10s Plus) to OpenHAB. Reading through the forums, I’ve seen that it would be ‘quite’ easy to connect Xiaomi Home, but the issue is that my vacuum cleaner isn’t compatible with Xiaomi Home, only with DreameHome. Has anyone encountered this issue before and found a solution? It is possible to spoofing the data that the vacuum cleaner sends/receives and use them on OpenHAB? Thanks in advance!
Am I right to assume it is not being discovered at all ( not even as a generic or unsupported device)?
In that case the communication protocol is indeed different from the mihome protocol and it will indeed not work.
For some roborock devices it works when you reset it and initialize it via mihome rather than the manufacturer app. You could give that a try
