At least for a general installation of add-ons i have introduced https://www.openhab.org/docs/configuration/addons.html#installation-of-add-ons a while ago.
So maybe we should also add references to both articles while working on document bundle install and update by stefan-hoehn · Pull Request #1962 · openhab/openhab-docs · GitHub and check if the instalaltion article fits into the update part or if we should adjust somethign too there.
That’s always the problem with documentation - you need to know where to find what

One general info aside:
Our search works pretty good already, as you can see with the first search result.
With the changes of your pr (and a proper link text) the searchterm update should also point to the interesting plages in the future.
