I just started migrating to OH2 from OH1 and am really liking what I see if I could just get past my issues with the CT30 on OH2.
I have a CT30 zwave thermostat http://www.cd-jackson.com/index.php/zwave/zwave-device-database/zwave-device-list/devicesummary/94 that works perfectly under OH1. I move the aeon gen5 usb stick to another device running OH2 all devices are recognized except the CT30. The node is found but it is not recognized as a CT30. I can move this usb zwave controller back to the OH1 device and control the CT30 so I know its not a hardware compatibility issue between the controller and the device, or a communication issue. I installed openhabian distro and am using the OH2 zwave binding which I think should be the latest but I’m not 100% since OH2 is new to me. Below is the head of both node.xml files from OH1 and OH2, along with the log output for the node on OH2 stating that “Device discovery could not resolve to a thingType!”. I’ve also removed this device from the zwave network and re-included it and the exact same result.
I know this should be working but sure I’m missing something. If anyone has any ideas I’d appreciate it.
