Define a item as a integer input?

Hello Guys.
How do i define a integer to be an input from the UI? I’m thinking on a Setpoint for a heater control… When defining the item i do like this:

Number Temp_Garage_SP			"Temperatur Setpunkt Garage [%.1f °C]"					<temperature>	(Garage)

This only shows the item as a temperature read.out

On the Sitemap use a Setpoint
