Deleting everything and start from scratch with openhabian

I am running openhabian on a Raspi3 and SSD.
After since the update to OH 2.3 I experience some issues (rules not reloaded, etc).

I would like to delete everything from OH but would like to keep the base config (openVPN, mosquitto, etc.).

So what is the best way, to delete everything from OH and start from scratch (I deleted already the files in cache and tmp).

If you really want to start from scratch is first take backups. Then run apt-get purge openhab2. Then delete any residuals in /etc/openhab2 and /var/lib/ooenhab2.

Then run openhabian-config to install OH again.
