What is your preferred switch type for dimmers? Are you using cabled toggle switches or z-wave (or other wireless) controllers? I’m doing some construction work at home and am planning on using standard wall switches in toggle mode to control my Fibaro dimmers. Any downside to this?
I have Fibaro dimmers as well, they work fine. Go for pushbuttons (monostable switches) so you can do press-and-hold to adjust brightness.
It’s rather unrelated to dimmers and more of a general question to go either wired, wireless or both on a case-by-case basis.
To wire always is the most reliable thus preferred solution but it may not be applicable or too expensive (if you factor in followup cost such as to redecorate walls).
