Can that be done in the paper ui?
better use HABmin to modify the configs of Z-Wave nodes (example from another Dimmer node⊠usually Association Group 1 is for status⊠this depends on the device):
Check also within âConfiguration Parametersâ if there are any settings related to pushing the status upon changes.
Donât actually see any association groups for either of my dimmer plugs, even in habmin, the whole section doesnât show up.
This is not permitted as per the standard. You will find that associations are only used when there is an âinternalâ change in the device - not if you command it remotely. So if you send a command to a device, it doesnât (shouldnât) respond other than to ack the command.
These arenât currently populated in the database, hence why they arenât in HABmin. I had a quick look at the manual and it looks like there is a single association group for this device. Adding this to the database will likely make this device more usable with respect to reporting.
