Dispatching event to subscriber EventLogger takes more than 5000ms

Hi

For a couple of weeks I find several entries per day in my openhab.log like this:
2020-09-23 07:37:40.329 [WARN ] [me.core.internal.events.EventHandler] - Dispatching event to subscriber 'org.eclipse.smarthome.io.monitor.internal.EventLogger@1e089f9' takes more than 5000ms.
These entries appear sporadicly between 3 an 10 times per day. From time to time i also realize very long delays in Z-Wave reaktions (up to several seconds). They could or could not be related to that.

Has anyone an idea what the reason for this logfile entries could be? How can I find out the reason? I’m using the newest stable version of openhab on a Raspi 3b:
‘Linux openhab 5.4.51-v7+ #1333 SMP Mon Aug 10 16:45:19 BST 2020 armv7l’

thanks

As you’ll realize by searching other threads about this message in this forum, it’s about “something” holding things up for openHAB processing. zwave delays are likely related - but that might be cause or effect.
Finding the culprit is not easy.
