Do the experimental rule engine create .rules - Files?

Hi,
i’ve tinkered some simple rules with the expermiental rules engine … now i’d like to enhance them. I hoped that the rules engine created .rules - files with i can edited … but i’ve not find files. Can anyone confirm that rules created by the rules engine do not created .rules-files

No, they are saved as JSON somewhere in userdata (/var/lib/openhab2). They might be stored in the JSONDB along with Things and Items created through PaperUI.

The ERE is a completely new implementation of the Rules Engine and shares, as far as I can tell, nothing with the default Rules DSL.
