E3DC with openhab 3

  • Platform information:
    • Hardware: raspi 3
    • OS: openhabian
    • Java Runtime Environment: 11.0.10 (Zulu11.45+27-CA)
    • openHAB version: 3.0.1

I am trying to read some information of my e3dc. Modbus is activated. I have installed “Modbus TCP Slave” and configured ip, port and id as shown in e3dc. I have also installed “E3DC Hauskraftwerk”. Both are online.
I have tried to “add link to item” for several channels, but I always get NULL as output.
Help would be very welcome.

After switching from guest- to home-net it works.

Hello, I have the same problem, but what do you mean by this statement?

I imagine that they are both on the same network. My guest network is not on either.
What settings have you made so that it works? What are your item settings?

Hi, I also got the same problem.

Solved mine by adding a ‘Modbus Regular Poll’ thing attached to the ‘Modbus TCP Slave’ bridge.
